What more could you ask for in a table? We have 2 kids in booster seats, which fit very well in the chairs and under the table when not in use. For our sanity, we placed a towel on those two chairs, under the booster seats, to protect the fabric of the chair against spills, crumbs and/or messes. My 3 yr old climbs into the chair with no problems though I prefer to help her up, my 2 yr old has a harder time and requires more assistance. They'll get there. The chairs do not tip as they climb them (I make sure to be near them just in case though). A concern I had about the table when purchasing was, if leaned on, would it tip. The answer is no. We are an average build family and any leaning done has not managed to tip the table over, which is a good thing because that table is heavy! The lazy Susan is built into the table with tempered glass and is a wonderful addition to the table. We usually put the salad fixings on it for dinner. Table cleans easy, no nooks or crannies for crumbs to get into, except where the lazy Susan meets the table, but that part lifts ups when you want it to for easy clean up. At this time, I have not found a use for the under the table storage but I'm sure that's just a matter of time. Being that my children are so young, I don't find it practical to put wine in that cabinet.
Assembly was as expected. Took time for 8 chairs and the table was a 2 person project. All in all...we are very VERY happy with this purchase.
Product arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. It was shipped on a pallet with 6 boxes of different sizes.

The table is solid, hard and heavy. It seems durable, but only time will tell. I set it up only 2 days ago. The set up is straight forward, but slightly cumbersome because of the heavy component pieces in the table itself which is a good thing (better heavy than the opposite when it comes to dining room tables). The chairs are an easy set up but make sure you have a power tool or it will take longer than it took me. I was in no hurry and I set it all up in 6 hours (remember there are 8 chairs to put together). The chairs are comfortable and my two sons ages 10 and 12 love the lazy Susan which wasn't complicated to set up either. My wife who was out of town when I ordered it likes it very much as well. At this point we couldn't be happier with this dining room table and chairs. It was a great price. I know cuz I checked dining table prices in my local furniture shops. And it is sturdy and attractive. All things considered I'd recommend this table to anyone, but especially to family with children.

My family and I are moving within the next week, so we haven't put it together yet, but I can't wait until we do!
