Purchased two of these desks and they both reek of formaldehyde. If the smell doesn't dissipate within a short time, we'll be sending them back.

I bought this despite someone else's feedback regarding the smell of formaldehyde. We put this in our child's room for a Christmas surprise, and had to remove it the next day the fumes were so bad. So bad they could not possibly be good for a human to breathe. We aired it out for over 3 months, and it still smells. I will never buy from this company again.

We love this desk!! We bought it for our 6 year old daughter who loves to do art projects. This desk is nice and big so she'll be able to use it for years and years. Very durable, very nice, and tons of storage space. We were amazed at all the things she can fit in all of the big drawers. Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a really nice durable desk.
