Great desk for a very good price. Took my son a while to put it together, but was worth it at the end. Needed a desk with lots of storage and it provides that. Had some problems with the file drawer and experienced great customer service by Amazon(even though they had to send a replacement desk just to get 1 piece replaced). Altogether very happy with my purchase!

I bought this desk, and was a bit dubious when I did. The price told me it was likely going to be very low quality. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Its a very solid desk, and though the assembly was a bit of a pain, that's simply because there are so many pieces to it. I do like the drawers and the storage. That was a big thing here at my house. The color is wonderful, exactly what I was looking for.

Now the bad stuff. I put my alienware computer in the pc tower hidey place.. and it promptly overheated and fried my graphics card. Lesson learned.. never ever put your pc in the cupboard where its "supposed" to go.

In addition, there was a need to sand a few places because the laminate top hadn't been sanded on some surfaces. They were sharp enough to cut someone on. A few minutes gently sanding the edges and its fine now.. just something that i shouldn't have had to do. The place where the CD's go.. is sort of wasted, because more than half the space is blocked off behind the CD stacker. I'm not sure why they did that, but it does seem a bit of a waste to me.

Other than those things, I really like this desk, and would certainly purchase it again... just .. don't put your pc in that cupboard!

I bought this desk because I needed extra storage space. This is the desk for the job. I would have given this product 5 stars, but the directions were a little difficult. However, my 7 year old son and I put this together, so they were not all that bad. I would highly recommend it for the price. I couldn't find any other desk with a hutch and storage for this price. All in all, great buy.
