This was my first Shun knife that I got for my birthday a few years ago. Since then I've stopped using all the other knifes I owned and just use this one instead for anything it can do. As all other Shun's, great weight, handle fits my hand like a glove, just an excellent knife. However it is a little delicate so if you try to hack things off it will chip and it still requires tiny but some maintenance. Since getting this knife I've transitioned into only using Shun knifes. As all the others, expensive but still great value, you simply get an awesome knife for the money. I have no complaints at all.
