I have a Sony Bravia 55" LCD TV. I needed a mount that would support this unit with no worries, was fully articulate in ALL directions, would pull out from the wall to allow access to the TV, and was built like a TANK. I read allot of reviews on different mounts and decided to try this one. I was not disappointed.
This is a HEAVY mount! I had previously triple studded the wall where the TV was going to be mounted when I was remodeling the room. It wouldn't have mattered if the studs where only normal single studs, the design of this mount would allow for the adjustment to center the holes perfectly, as the mounting holes are slotted. I must say that a stud finder is an absolute must for you to be able to find the exact center for the stud. It is too dangerous to mount a heavy TV and not know if you are in the wood or not. The mount comes with a level to help you install it level and plumb. Even if you are off a little, the TV mounting Pad does swivel to the left and right to compensate.
I can pull the TV all the way out and there is hardly any sag at all in the mount. Pushed all the way to the wall, there is about a 6" gap from the back of the TV to the Wall.
The reviews had mentioned that the correct bolts to fit your TV might not be in the mounting kit, this was the case here. I had looked up what I needed in the TV Manual and went and got some at Lowes Hardware at a few different lengths to make sure I had what I needed. I also got some 2.5" long lag screws to use in lieu of the ones they sent to mount the unit to the wall. If it wasn't for this I would be giving this review a 5.
I am very happy wit the performance of this mount. I have had it hanging up there for over a month and there is no sag. I liked it so much I bought the next size down for my 42" TV in the Living Room.

After reading some of the reviews on this mount,Cheetah Mounts Professional Dual Wishbone Cantilever Arm Wall Mount APAMPB 32-65" to VESA 800,VideoSecu 1VH Tilting TV MOUNT Extra Large Articulating Swivel Wall Mount for LG 36" 37" 38" 40" 42" 46" 47" Plasma/LCD TV with Free 7 FT HDMI Cable I decided to order it for my 42" LCD. After I receive it and began to assemble the mount their are two vertical pieces that attach to the back of the TV and then attach to the two horizontal supports that has a sliding mechanism that allows the the mount to accommondate TV's with mounting hole of differing widths then attach to the vertical pieces attached to the TV they did not line up. After reading a review from A. Andrews and the difficulty he was having and what he went through to resolve this problem I looked at the gear mechanism and there are three pins in that mechanism that hold that assembly in place, I remove those pins with a small nail that allow the whole mechanism to be removed from the horizontal housing adjusted it so that it lined up with the other horizontal mechanism and carefully reinstalled it in the housing and lined up the pin hole and reinserted the pins all in about ten (10) minutes and it works fine.

The Cheetah Professional Dual Wishbone Cantilever Arm Wall Mount is a nice solid product. The construction deserves a 5 Star rating; the assembly and trip to the hardware store gave it a 4 Star. It was challenging to assemble, but worth the time and effort. If your flat screen TV is flat on the back, and most of the newer models are, you will probably be making a trip to the Hardware Store to pick up some shorter screws to attach the mount to the back of your TV (you may be able to use the spacers that were provide, but I wouldn't). This mount has the quality of an expensive brand such as Omni, but you can buy it for less than half of the price. The mount handles the weight and size of my 46" Flat Screen TV like it was nothing. The movement and viewing angles are amazing (It extends outward, rotates side to side, tilts up and down, and swivels for leveling. You can't beat the quality, construction, and versatility in a mount for this price.
