I have used waterless cookware all my adult life. I had Magnalite pots and pans for 50 years and decided that, for our 50th Anniversary, I would get some new ones. Magnalite is no longer available so I decided to try these. I have had a stainless pan before so I felt comfortable ordering these.
The first thing I cooked was frozen peas. I followed directions and the peas cooked perfectly but...the stainless pans stained! I tried another recipe...the pot roast...and made large stains that wouldn't go away with washing. Everything I cook leaves stains on the bottom of the pans. If I want nice pans again, I'll probably have to get stainless steel cleaner. I have followed their directions for washing and rinsing carefully so I don't know why they stain..... PLUS, the middle saucepan lid doesn't seal properly. BUMMER!

I loved this blender, but after three years, the pitcher shattered for no apparent reason. I had filled it with water to loosen the dried material inside. A few minutes later, I came back and it was in a hundred small, jagged pieces all over the kitchen. The glass was room temperature as was the water. Just FYI. Careful when washing it. The pieces were VERY SHARP.

This fondue set worked great. I purchased it after returning from Switzerland- I was craving some fondue. The pot is very large and can easily accomodate a group. The cast iron is nice- went easily from gas range to base. The base was very stable so no worries about tipping. Overall it was a great quality set. Only negative was that the set did not come with fuel- the description isn't totally clear- I read it as the fuel container would be in there- apparently only the container to hold the fuel that you buy separately is included. Not a big deal since the fuel is cheap but plan accordingly so you have the fuel when you need it.

My wife was craving cheese fondue so I shopped around and decided on this one. Sooo much better than the el-cheapos that were all over the place. The heavy cast-iron heats up evenly on the stove and it has a nice comfortable handle. Clean up afterwards was easy. The stand is solidly constructed, quite stable, and protects the tabletop. The burner works well with gel, though it takes a half dozen wooden matches to get it going enough to sustain the flame, and goes down to a good simmer. About the only minus I can think of is there's no way to tell the forks apart.

Love this rice cooker! Makes perfect rice! I have yet to use the quick function, so I'm not sure how good the rice will turn out with that. But, on the regular white rice setting, it cooks for approx. 40 minutes and comes out perfect each time. It plays a little song when cooking starts, and a different song when cooking stops. I also really like that the inner lid is detachable and can be washed after each use - as anyone who cooks rice knows...things can get caked on there.

I got my new rice cooker this afternoon and immediately tried it out. My first batch used 3 cups of long grain white rice and filled the cooker up to the 3 cup mark. The rice came out perfectly. My family ate the rice with a little soy sauce or a little butter. Either way, it was great. My second batch just finished cooking. we have used our blendtec wildside blender every single day since we got it, twice a day. blends really, really, really well. hearing protection is only necessary for the sensitive earred folks. usually i have to hit the smoothie button twice for a really smooth green smoothie, but it always turns out great! i haven't ventured past green smoothies, but the recipe book that comes with it is really extensive, with soooo many great sounding recipes. i did a Ton of research before i made this purchase. totally pleased. we have only had it 5 days, but we love it!

This blender makes the best smoothies ever. It doesnt grind the seeds from blackberries, but crushes the ice to a smooth consistency. Definitely a keeper.

Woooaaahhh!!!

My order came to a grand total of $505.00 for a blender. (That's pretty crazy)

What's crazier is after using 5 times (five) it started to smoke and "OVERLOAD" on Chocolate milkshakes. NO JOKING.

Let's see if I can get this right:

Add Vanilla ice cream -check
Add 2% milk -check
Add chocolate syrup -check
Scroll through menu and set to "milkshake" -check

Now, here is where I think I went wrong.. I didn't ADD smoke, good thing Blendtec had me covered. Had this unit for 5 days and used it 5 different times. It is going back TUESDAY. *By the way* Their customer support is a joke. Good luck spending.

Just purchased this 3 liter model for my office so that I can easily make cups of tea throughout the day. (I already previously purchased a 4 liter model for my home last year.) Previously I owned two 220v models when I lived in Europe which I gave to friends when I returned to the U.S. All these units are working perfectly without a glitch. Also it pays to buy the Zojirushi citrus cleaning solution that Amazon sells for the water boilers. After a year of mineral crud build up, one of the citrus packets clears it all away in one boiling cycle when mixed with water. In that sense, it could not be easier to keep clean. Given my good experience and the excellent reviews I constantly see from others, I now find myself seeking out Zojirushi kitchen products.

After just a few days, this has become an essential appliance. Use it to make morning black tea (you can dispense it at any temperature), as a head start for stovetop cooking and to have something warm to drink during the day. Also have used it to soak items with dried on food before putting them into the dishwasher. Use the delay option so that water is ready before I get up. Love the music which sounds when delay is used or when water is ready. You can turn it off, but why? Wonderful tool, imagine it will save on energy costs as well.

I am kind of nuts when it comes to coffee makers. I have two french presses, one special brand that relies on pressure to make fast coffee, an aluminum Italian Espresso maker, a high end Cuisinart regular coffee maker, a Senseo single serving coffee maker and a Black And Decker single serving coffee maker. All are good, solid coffee makers. None excel, just make your regular coffee. I also have an espresso maker, but it is admittedly a cheaper one ($50 or so).

I bought this one for work because of the low maintenance and was shocked. I thought it would make reasonable coffee, but it is comparable to the espresso and lungo in the coffee shop next door.

I bought another for home it is so good and now my wife absolutely loves her coffee too.

I will not bore you with the details because others have already done that here. I will just say it makes the best coffee/espresso of any coffee maker I have ever had and I cannot imagine a better cup than this makes.

Note that it does make only espresso and lungo which are small, but they have a much more major kick and flavor than regular coffee as well.

I have only had this machine for one day but I am in love with the coffee. I heat the milk and the mug in the microwave (doesn't sound very Swiss I know) and then add the coffee right from the machine into the mug.

Best coffee I have had in a long time. Beats Starbucks hands down and the price is great.

Got is from Sur la table and received a $75 coffee credit. Was worth it.

It sure does not look as nice as pictured. Wood looks a little cheap. And .. It is a little flimsy. I did not have any scratches on mine and it was pretty well packed. However, one of the pieces had the pre-drilled holes in the wrong place. The replacement I received from amazon did not have the same problem but and worked great.
I bought mine with the intention of using two sections instead of 3 due to space limitations. Upon taking one section off, you can't really tell it was designed to have 3 sections! Looking at other alternatives I think this is a great value considering that Lowes quoted me $1700 + tax + the price of the counter top to get the same design in a custom cabinet!

This home bar is a great value. My friends saw the bar and could not believe the price I paid. The color is great, it looks very rich. I love the bottle storage and the wine glass rack.

The only problem I ran into was that the directions did not say mention until the end that there is a drawer stopper. The directions were very clear, but did not say which way the piece that the stopper is attached to is supposed to face. Now my drawer does not have a stopper to keep it from being pulled out all the way, not a huge deal... it would have just been too much work to take everything apart to fix the problem.

So i got this gift as a gift for my Dad. We started putting it together and from the first piece we noticed the wood on the countertop where you screw in the middle wood plank was cracked. We were able to rig something up so we could finish putting it together. Got half way through and noticed they gave us 2 of the same peices and we couldnt finish. The instructions have a parts list so you can fax them what was wrong or missing and they say they'll ship the pieces. ITS been a month now. Still waiting for the right piece and a replacement for the damaged top and still nothing. Meanwhile we have a half build bar upide down waiting to be built in the middle of the game room.

i've only used it a few times. i bought it when it was on sale for 35 dollars. very good for the price. i'm sure there's probably sharper knives out there but for 35 dollars, you can't beat that. this is why i gave it five stars. it's also a cool looking knife. but even for 50 dollars, i think this is a good knife to get. but really, i think when it comes to knives, everyone has their own opinion. so good luck.

I have owned countless knifes that claimed to be "good". Needless to say, almost every knife I have owned has been a disgrace until now. The Calphalon 6" Chef (knife) is a superb all purpose knife with several notable features.

First off, the Japanese steel construction is not only very attractive, but also extremely durable. The knife is relatively light and is embedded with a very comfortable, yet ergonomic handle. Note, the knife feels well balanced and non-strenuous in your hands, even under various vigorous chopping, cutting tasks.

I used the knife to cut several vegetables, raw meat, along with raw fish; so far the knife cuts through meat as if it was butter. I had exceptional control while gouging through my various products. You must be sure to wash and dry the knife immediately after use (only hand washing is permitted). Furthermore, this knife is relatively inexpensive; considering the other brands such as shun, this knife is a bargain. Lastly, this product is backed by Calphalon's lifetime warranty.

All in all an excellent product, and I would highly recommend it. The knife has exceptional sharpness, craftsmanship, and style, definitely worth the money.

I found this knife in a local store and used a coupon to reduce the price to give the knife a try. It is the sharpest knife I have ever bought or used, and I have used a good number over the years including various German and other excellent brands. The balance and appearance are outstanding. The layered steel is attractive and interesting, but I don't know how much it contributes to the actual cutting, but it looks great. The tapered bolster reminds the user to grip the knife properly (if you are of the "pinch" grip persuasion). It is very easy to use with all kinds of food and cutting chores. It has held its edge with pretty frequent use for well over a year. I like to keep my knives sharp, and so far, this has not needed sharpening. I have bought other Katana knives piecemeal since purchasing this one and have really had good luck and experiences with all except the 5.5" serrated knife: it seemed to shred rather than slice/saw, so I returned it. I have five other Katana knives and plan to build my set piece by piece. I have had absolutely no rusting or cleaning problems, although I do try to clean all my knives as soon as possible after use. Highly recommended for sharpness, balance, use, design, and appearance.

My sister is very hard to impress, but I was confident she would love it! And she does, she wants to get the rest of the matching sets...dinnerware, salad bowls, serving bowls and much more. How could you not this tea set is so girly, pretty and fun! Great gift.

This teapot is easy to pour out of and great looking with the spout facing left. The Butterfly Meadow pieces are highly usable and durable but I find them too be too much when used together.

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the teapot for girly tea parties but not this set because I am anti-uncovered creamers and the sugarbowl really drags down the look of the set. The images are just too spindly and the rosebud on the lid is too pale and greyishly pink.

And definitely, do NOT put the lids in the dishwasher. I am dismayed to read the review about Lenox not selling just the lid so it would cost $30 to replace my broken one!

Wow, I cannot believe how gorgeous this tea service is. I just wish I could give this more than 5 stars!! It's colorful and bright and vibrant and each piece just pops with such a splash of merriment. And, it is crafted of fine Lenox porcelain china which is among the nicest set I have ever seen.

I love this set because it's the perfect tea service to celebrate Easter and Springtime in general because it includes beautiful pastels, yellows and adorable little garden themes. Anyone who likes this time of year would most assuredly appreciate this set.

I did want to mention a few things about the practicality of this service. First of all, because it is of fine porcelain I do not recommend putting it in the dishwasher nor the microwave. This should be hand washed with Palmolive and then delicately dried with a lint-free cloth. I know Amazon states that it can go in the microwave and dishwasher but that is just not the case.

If you take proper care of this set I am certain it will last a lifetime and provide a wealth of fond memories. By the way, Lenox also offers a lifetime replacement guarantee on all of their branded items.

The Lenox 8-piece (it's actually 9 different pieces) Butterfly Meadow tea set would also make a wonderful gift for that hard-to-shop for person or just for anyone that enjoys Lenox. It's such an unusual and unique item, I can almost guarantee no one has seen anything quit like it.

I also love this tea service because it's so casual and is something can be used as often as you like. And at this price it would even be wise to get more than 1 set. Wouldn't it also look stunning on a brass tea cart?

The price on Amazon simply cannot be found elsewhere. It is exceptional. Bambergers alone is charging nearly twice this price. I have also seen inferior sets go for much more than the price on Amazon. And with the free shipping they are practically giving it away!! And unlike other merchants, Amazon will go to the end of the earth to make certain that their customers are satisfied.

Speaking of shipping, I received my order within 3 days flat! Amazon even started packaging it up within minutes after my order was placed. They truly are the very best e-commerce company. And they packaged it wonderfully (by the way, the tea set comes in its own beautiful Lenox gift box).

If Amazon also offered groceries I would do all my shopping with them. But then I'd miss out on the privilege of waiting in line for 45 minutes at Wegmans listening to the instrumental version of "Knock Three Times" over the PA.
